We are excited to announce that something new is coming to the Clearfield Aquatic & Fitness Center! We’re making improvements to the facility by installing a brand new aquatic playground! This project was funded by Clearfield’s PARAT (Parks, Arts, Recreation, Aquatics, & Trails) Tax – your local sales tax dollars at work to fund major projects like this. Thank you for shopping local!
Demolition, cleaning, and construction will affect access to the facility in September.
Our fitness facilities will have limited use September 4 – September 9 Due to annual maintenance
- The Lap Pool will be closed September 4 – September 16
- The Leisure Pool will be closed September 4 – Early October
It has been three years since the adoption of the PARAT Tax in Clearfield. These funds are allocated to improve the amenities of our community. The Community Services Department has been hard at work to make good on that promise.
After the completion of the Pool Play Structure, renovation will begin on the tennis courts at Steed Park. These courts will receive new state-of-the-art post-tension concrete. We will also be converting some of the tennis courts into numerous outdoor Pickleball courts.
We are excited for the future of our Parks and Recreation amenities. Through this fund we have been able to expedite many projects that either wouldn’t happen or would take many years to accomplish. These funds come through a small percentage of sales tax in Clearfield, so shop local!
