New Membership Plans
🔄 Switching to the New Membership Plans
Can current members switch to the new membership plans?
Yes! All current members can switch to a new plan. If you paid in full, we’ll review your current membership and apply any overpayment amount as extra time on your membership.
What’s the deadline to switch?
Please submit your switch request by July 31st.
How do I switch my membership?
- Monthly Memberships: Submit a “Change in Membership” form.
- Annual Paid-in-Full Memberships: We’ll review your account and apply a credit toward the new plan.
Please allow up to 30 days for processing the switch.
Can I switch and add family members (e.g., my kids)?
Yes! You can switch to a new membership and include your children at that time.

I want a buddy to join me. Can we use the Family of Two plan?
Yes! Our Individual/Buddy Pass allows up to 2 people. You do not need to live at the same address.
I have the same zip code as Clearfield, can I still get the resident rate?
The resident rate is for those who are in Clearfield City. If you pay your city bills to Clearfield City, then you qualify for the resident discount.
If my child has a membership, do I need to pay extra for daycare?
No! If you switch to the new membership plans, daycare is included for eligible children.
What are the daycare rules?
- Ages accepted: 6 weeks to 10 years old
- Time limits: Up to 90 minutes in the morning and 90 minutes in the afternoon

When are monthly memberships charged?
Charges are applied based on your membership start date (not necessarily the 1st of the month).
Will I receive a membership card or keychain?
We now use QR stickers and a mobile app for convenient access—no more keychains!
Are there still member-only hours?
Yes! Member-only hours are still part of your membership benefits.
Can I sign up online?
Yes! You can sign up either online or in person.
What documents do I need to bring to sign up?
Please bring proof of residency—a water bill, LES, DD214, or a current paystub from a Clearfield City business .

How do I cancel my membership?
Cancellations must be done in person at the welcome desk by submitting a Membership Cancellation Form.
Do I need to give notice before canceling?
Yes. We require 10 days’ notice to avoid being charged for the next billing cycle.
Are fees prorated if I cancel mid-month?
No. There is no proration of fees at cancellation.

What’s the discount for an annual membership?
When you pay in full and buy an annual pass, you’re getting 12 months for the price of 10!
What other perks come with membership?

How long can I keep my old pricing?
You can keep your current rate until your membership cancels, defaults, or the contract ends.
Financial Assistance Available
Clearfield City offers financial assistance for fitness memberships, arts, recreation, and aquatics programs. If awarded funds, the applicant is eligible for up to 50% off membership fees and 75% off program registration fees.
We encourage all children to participate in recreational activities and do not want them to be limited by financial barriers.
Admissions
Daily admission to the Clearfield Aquatic Center gives you access to the entire facility as well as the water aerobics classes, group fitness classes, and the cardio and weight rooms. The basketball courts and indoor track are shared with North Davis Junior High and have limited times available when school is in session.

Group Rate
$1.00 off admission for ages 4 years and older when paid for in one transaction.
Membership Add-Ons and Amenities
Daycare
Now included with new memberships!
Our reservation and walk-in child care service is open to children six weeks to 12 years of age. This service is provided for patrons of the Clearfield Aquatic and Fitness Center only. Our child care center follows the rules and regulations of a state-licensed facility.

Swim Lessons
Registration is available at the start of each month, depending on lesson availability.
Clearfield Aquatic and Fitness Center Swim Lessons are taught by certified instructors. Safety is emphasized in each class while learning hydrodynamic principles, and each of the following strokes: Front Crawl, Back Crawl, Breaststroke, Elementary Backstroke, and Butterfly. Advanced levels also learn competitive swimming starts and turns.
Personal Training
Reach your fitness goals with our personal trainers. One-on-one training sessions are for all ages and experience levels. A structured program will be developed to help you reach your personal fitness goals safely using cardiovascular exercise, weight training, and stretching. Whether you want to get healthy or stay fit, your trainer will be with you through your entire workout to ensure exercise effectiveness and safety.
Don’t want to train alone? Come with a buddy and train together. Call the fitness program coordinator at 801-525-2647 for help to decide which trainer will be right for you, or to schedule an appointment.

Senior Options
We accept Silver Sneakers, Silver & Fit, Active & Fit, and United Healthcare Insurance Reimbursement Plans. Check with your insurance provider to see if you qualify for any of these plans. Some plans require an activation code from your healthcare provider to be accepted. See the front counter for more information.
Punch Passes
Aren’t ready to commit to full membership? Get the next best thing. All punch passes are 15 visits, allow the individual access to the entire facility (during operating hours), are able to take land/water aerobics classes, and never expire.
